A person using a work or performance under an author’s contract, or their successor must give timely, relevant and sufficient information to the author and performer or their representative in a format which can be reproduced in writing regarding the use of the work and performance, in particular the manners of use, the whole revenue received and the remuneration due to the author or performer. Where possible, the customs and practices of the area of activity or professional area are taken into account in performance of this obligation.
